Each year, BNSME recognizes members with awards specifically designed to shine a spotlight on creativity. The brainchild of Morris R. Poummit, our Creative Sales & Marketing Awards are named in his honor.

 

The Poummit Awards recognize outstanding achievements in two categories: one recipient for sales and one for marketing.

 

The honors will be presented at our Annual Installation and Awards Dinner on Monday, May 21, 2012. Finalists will receive a certificate of recognition.

 

The first member to be inducted into the BNSME Hall of Fame, Morrie Poummit was an accomplished salesman, a tireless storyteller and a talented professional. He retired in 1978 as president and CEO of Colad, one of the most successful and innovative companies in our region.

 

While Morrie appreciated creativity and ingenuity, he also believed that true success is measured in return on investment. The Poummit Awards competition acknowledges not only the people behind the year’s best creative breakthroughs, but also the results they achieve.
