BNSME: THE NETWORKING CENTER

Interact in a welcoming atmosphere where you can build relationships and learn from your peers.  BNSME is not a tip club but it is a potential resource for meeting people of influence and making new friends.  And friends do business with friends.

The Decision Makers:  BNSME members are leaders in their companies and in the community.  They manage millions of dollars in revenues and expenses and most often they have the final say on activities at their companies.

Introduce yourself and your company's product or service to BNSME's approximately 150 members at our:

  • We offer 8 Dinner Meetings per year (usually the fourth Monday of the month) that are included in our members' yearly dues.  These dinner meetings feature significant networking opportunities for Western New York Business executives and a presentation from sales and marketing leaders from around the country.
  • BNSME members can participate in highly focused Sunrise Seminars (usually about 4 to 6 per year, not included in dues) in an interactive workshop format covering sales and marketing trading topics for managers and their teams.
  • Excellence and camraderie are the focus of BNSME Events which include our annual Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award program.  Member companies use this formal awards night to honor their top sales and marketing performers.  Not only do winners receive an award and kudos during the ceremony but they receive regional recognition through a special supplement in Business First in Buffalo.  It's a night of recognition that winners always cherish!
  • The Executive Of The Year Award program.  For over 40 years, the true pioneers of business have been recognized for their amazing achievements by BNSME through this prestigious and coveted award.  It is a great opportunity for our members to learn from one of our area's most talented executives.
  • The Annual BNSME Golf Outing.  While members enjoy an incredibly fun afternoon of golf at one of our area's most exclusive country clubs, they are also helping to raise money for Junior Achievement of Western New York in their goal to inspire kids to learn the economics of life through free enterprise education.

BNSME: THE LEADER IN CONTINUING SALES AND MARKETING EDUCATION

At every dinner meeting, sunrise seminar, and even through our special events, the focus of BNSME is to present new sales and marketing ideas and concepts at every membership gathering.  The frenetic pace at which the sales and marketing profession is progressing and the increasingly aggressive rate at which sales and marketing executives are expected to perform mean that part of our members' success comes from staying ahead of industry trends and technology.  BNSME provides our members with that forum to learn at every meeting.

BNSME: IMPROVING PROFESSIONALISM WITHIN SALES AND MARKETING

Professionalism and credibility are inextricably linked in all fields but rarely more so than in the fields of Sales and Marketing.  The Buffalo/Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives is an association and in cooperation with Sales and Marketing Executives International have established nationally accredited certification programs for sales and marketing executives to recognize those professionals who have met and surpassed the high standards of education, experience, knowledge, and ethical conduct, as is done in other professions.

The SME certification designations show that you are a professional.  Certification announces your professional competence to your clients, employer, peers, and customers.  Professionals earning the coveted CME, CSE, or SCPS designation will receive a special pin, framed certificate, and can use their letter designation on all official letterhead, business cards, and stationery (example: John H. Smith, CME).
